Event includes Christmas and Craft Bazaar; donations of food reduce entry to $1; kids get in free

The Annual Jefferson County Flea Market Christmas and Craft Bazaar kicks off Sunday morning at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds — providing a fun shopping experience and an opportunity to give back to the community.

Standard admission for the Nov. 17 event is $2, and those 11 years old and younger get in free. As an alternative, attendees can bring in two cans of food per person to bring the admission fee down to $1. All of the food collected stays in Jefferson County, being donated to a local food bank.

The event features collectibles, vintage and one-of-a-kind finds, trinkets and new items from a variety of vendors. Besides the normal flea market treasures, the event offers handmade crafts and Christmas items in time for the holiday.
