Dec. 28

An assault was investigated in southwest Madras. A suspect has been identified and the case is under investigation.

Jaydean Gilbert, 32, was arrested on a confirmed felony warrant.

Michael Meanus, 58, was arrested for probation violation.

A report of theft was received from Northeast Cowden Drive.

Kip Worley, 28, was arrested for third-degree theft from Safeway.

A hit and run report was taken on Southwest Highway 97.

Jamie Watlamett, 56, was arrested for theft at Safeway.

A vehicle was reported stolen from Northwest Cedar Street.

The Madras police department took a report of criminal mischief from Southwest Madison Street.

Madras police assisted the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office with the apprehension of a burglar in northwest Madras.

Dec. 29

A domestic violence incident was investigated on Southeast L Street Loop.

An officer responded to Safeway for a theft report. Patricia Jim, 26, and a female juvenile were charged with third-degree theft. Jim was lodged at the Jefferson County Correctional Facility and the juvenile released with a criminal citation to a responsible party.

Dec. 30

Roseanna White, 36, was arrested for third-degree theft from Safeway. White was cited and released.

Anthony Fuentes, 46, was arrested for third-degree theft from Safeway. Fuentes was cited and released.

Safeway loss prevention reported an attempted theft of over $300 in groceries. Suspects fled before officer arrival.

Dec. 31

A report of a dog bite on Northeast Seventh Street was taken. The report will be sent to the Jefferson County Health Department.

Kris Howtopat, 21, and Michael Heath, 18, were issued citations for third-degree theft from Safeway.

Jan. 1

Thomas Wilson, 54, was arrested for DUII on Southwest D Street.

An officer was dispatched to Ahern's Market for a report of a subject walking in front of traffic. Jeffery Thrasher, 61, was arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct.

A burglary was investigated in Southeast Madras.

Jan. 5

Randall Wallulatum, 32, was arrested for disorderly conduct and menacing stemming from an incident in Southwest Madras.

A report of theft was taken in Southwest Madras.

A possible sex crime was reported. Case pending further investigation.

Janice Smith, 54, was arrested for disorderly conduct and trespassing stemming from an incident on Fifth Street.

Dec. 28

A deputy responded to the intersection of Highway 361 and Southwest Gem Lane. The driver of the vehicle had a suspended license. The vehicle was impounded.

Deputies with the JCSO responded to the 800 block of Northwest Third Street in Madras on a report of shots fired. Gilberto Izquierdo-Arreloa, 30, of Metolius, was arrested for multiple crimes including menacing, unlawful use of a weapon, felon in possession of a weapon and first-degree disorderly conduct.

Dec. 29

The JCSO along with the Madras Police Department responded to Northwest Depot Road regarding a disturbance. Zachary Bowe, 18, of Madras, was arrested for harassment and interfering with making a police report after he pushed two people and then took their phones from them while they were trying to call 911.

Dec. 30

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office contacted a Culver resident who had an outstanding warrant out of Deschutes County. Thomas Campbell, 28, of Culver was taken into custody.

The JCSO responded to a report of hit and run at the Culver High School. It was discovered that a vehicle was struck by another vehicle, causing significant damage. The suspect left the scene without reporting it. A juvenile suspect was later located and arrested.

Dec. 31

A deputy conducted a traffic stop in Madras. It was discovered the driver was driving without a license. The driver was issued a citation and the vehicle impounded.

Jan. 1

Isaac Dominguez, 34, of Madras was cited for driving while suspended and operating without required lighting equipment. The vehicle was impounded.

Jan. 3

A deputy made a traffic stop in Madras. After investigation, a minor was cited for operating a vehicle without a license and failure to use headlights. The vehicle was impounded.

The JCSO took a report of a stolen vehicle from an address on Adams Avenue in Metolius. The owner later called and advised they located the vehicle.

A report of a restraining order violation at a residence in Crooked River Ranch was received. George Gove, 37, of CRR had violated the restraining order and was arrested.


The following items are from Circuit Court sentencing reports. The sentences are for multiple charges, jail of 30 days or more, and felony offenses.

Jan. 3

Erin Lee Joyner, 45, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine, a Class C felony, which occurred on Aug. 10. He was sentenced to 10 days in the Jefferson County Correctional Facility and 18 months of supervised probation.
