Woman indicted on ID theft charge
Katie Lynn Bregenzer, 30, of Metolius, was indicted on a charge of identity theft March 19 in Jefferson County Circuit Court.
Bregenzer was cited for attempted theft on May 23 regarding an incident that occurred April 18, according to an information filed with the court by District Attorney Steve Leriche.
The information said Bregenzer tried to use the personal identity of two people.
Bregenzer was conditionally released from the Jefferson County Correctional Facility on March 19.
Man sentenced for meth possession, resisting arrest
Rigoberto Medrano, 39, of Warm Springs, was sentenced to 20 days in the Jefferson County Correctional Facility and 18 months of supervised probation in Jefferson County Circuit Court March 18.
Medrano pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and resisting arrest.
According to his indictment, Medrano had prior felony convictions of meth possession and unlawful manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance. The indictment also said Medrano resisted arrest and refused to obey a police order on March 2.
A charge of interfering with a peace officer was dismissed.
22 charges dropped in third-degree rape case
Drake Eugene Anderson, 21, of Metolius, pleaded guilty to third-degree rape on March 19 in Jefferson County Circuit Court. He was sentenced to 15 days in the Jefferson County Correctional Facility and three years of supervised probation.
Anderson was accused of sexually abusing a girl under 16 years old. He is required to register as a sex offender. Twenty-two other counts were dismissed.
