 - Wreaths honoring deceased veterans will be displayed at the local cemetery through Jan. 15.

The Wreaths Across America program for Jefferson County is currently displaying wreaths at the Mount Jefferson Memorial Cemetery on Loucks Road until Jan. 15.

The wreaths are displayed annually on the third Saturday of November through January, coordinated in more than 1,400 locations nationwide and the laying of wreaths at Arlington Cemetery.

The Wreaths Across America program is available as a fundraiser for students, community and commerce to participate in recognition of local deceased veterans. The USA-made wreaths are ordered, prepared and shipped to locations for November placement with local veterans or Honor Guards.
