Fire began in attached car port and spread to structure early Friday morning in Warm Springs

WARM SPRINGS POLICE DEPARTMENT PHOTO - Fire destroyed a vacant home on Bray Avenue in Warm Springs early Friday morning, April 2.

At 3:37 a.m. Friday, April 2, Warm Springs Police Department received a report of a structure fire at 1756 Bray Avenue in Warm Springs.

According to Warm Springs Police Department and Warm Springs Fire and Safety reports, a boarded-up single-story, single-family dwelling had a fully engulfed attached car port. Fire spread to half of the residence. The fire was contained to the structure of origin, but the structure was considered a total loss.

The home was vacant, and no injuries were reported. The fire is under investigation.
