That site is a collaboration between Kaiser Permanente, Legacy Health, Oregon Health & Science University and Providence, which have combining vaccine supplies and their staffs of doctors, nurses and clinical personnel. Members of the Oregon National Guard also are working at the Convention Center site.

Appointments are still being taken but are no longer mandatory. More information is available here.

Meanwhile, Clackamas County is offering a COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Clackamas Town Center from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, May 7. Vaccinations are free, and appointments are not necessary.

At either site, people need to wear masks and observe physical distancing guidelines.

"Everyone is welcome, regardless of immigration status," Clackamas County added.

The Oregon Convention Center is at 777 N.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Portland. Clackamas Town Center is at 12000 SE 82nd Ave., Happy Valley; the clinic is located in the parking garage at the west end of the mall.
