The new office at 12 SW Fifth Street will be the fourth Windermere branch in Central Oregon. The office will open with six agents and hopes to add more to serve Jefferson County.

"We love this community, and we're excited to be here and help it grow and give back," said Amy Brown, a broker who will be working from the new office.

The office also houses a community room, free to rent for events, meetings or other community gatherings. The room has three large tables and can be reserved by calling the office.

"We really want this space to be for the community," said Brown. "We want anyone to be able to use it for whatever they need. We want this space to serve the community."

Windemere had previously been operating at a smaller office in Madras.
