Don't worry so much about the election when you can take comfort in the Lord; and it isn't Not Greater Idaho, just regular Idaho

Take comfort in the Lord

Afraid of the results of the election?

This is a time of fear and uncertaintly, neither party will quiet those fears or make our lives complete. Having said this, God wants us to vote and honor and pray for our government, but whatever happens in November, there will not be any lasting hope or peace except in Jesus Christ.

Our sin separates us from our God and the Bible says we are all sinners in Romans 3:23. The good news is Jesus paid the penalty for our sins on the cross. We just need to repent and trust in Him as our Savior, that paid the penalty for our sins. We can have a relationship with Him now and through eternity. Isn't that good news!

Not Greater, just Idaho

Regarding the article published Oct. 28 about Move Oregon's Border: No one involved with the "Greater Idaho - Move Oregon's Border" movement has ever said we want a state named "Greater Idaho." This is a complete misunderstanding which sadly happens often. We would simply be a part of Idaho. This is the misunderstanding that was published in this article: "If and when that is accomplished, the organization will turn its attention to annexing northern California counties by changing the California/Idaho border, creating a massive state labeled Greater Idaho."

Never said and never will be.

Unfortunately, the author of this article did not get the facts correct on this issue of the name. It would simply be "Madras, Idaho, or La Pine, Idaho. Never intending to make a new state called "Greater Idaho."

There is confusion because of the name on our Facebook page. That is why we have tried to impress that this is about "moving" our border. Thus the name "Move Oregon's Border," which is the legal name of this movement.

Please visit us on our website GreaterIdaho.org or on Facebook at Greater Idaho - Move Oregon's Border. Last October (2019), we had a little over 200 Facebook members. By this spring, we had grown to over 10,000.

Check out YouTube or Google us. Look at how many articles and interviews we have had. Washington Post, CNN, Glen Beck Show. The country is watching this and cheering for us. Our message has been spread all over the United States, and now it is being watched by people in other countries. We are not the only state trying to do this. Others are being encouraged by our movement and hoping the people in their states will stand up also. It is an idea whose time has come.
