The Culver Livestock Club met on May 7, at 3 p.m., at the Culver City Hall. There were 16 members able to attend the meeting. Club member Taft Rice led the 4-H pledge.

Our club talked about dates that are important to know. Weigh-ins are on May 19 from 4-8 p.m. We talked about the pigs and sheep maximum weights for weigh-ins. We also talked about animal weights and feed for the animals. Registration for fair is due on June 6 to the 4-H office.

After the meeting, our club did a community cleanup in the town of Culver. We cleaned up around both sides of the Old Culver Highway in Culver. We also cleaned the big field area next to the highway. We collected several bags of trash.

Renee Johnson provided the snack. Our next meeting is on May 21, at 3 p.m. at the Culver City Hall.
