Sharing Tree, auction and bingo slated to help raise funds for annual Christmas baskets.

The Culver community is planning several holiday events.

Sharing Tree – the Sharing Tree will be at Culver Market, and names of people are available now. Culver volunteers give gifts to 90-100 children each year, but needs the community's help to do it. People can take a tag or two from the Sharing Tree, buy a gift, and return it by Dec. 16, for delivery.

Auction and Bingo – A silent auction and bingo games will be held on Sunday, Dec. 10, at Culver City Hall, sponsored by the Culver Community Improvement Group.

The auction begins at 6 p.m., and bingo games are from 6:30-8 p.m., or until 10 games have been played.

Christmas Baskets – Applications for Culver residents or Crooked River Ranch residents within the Culver School District, in need of help at Christmastime, are available at Culver City Hall during regular business hours, or call 541-546-4502, or 541-419-8512.

The applications must be returned by Dec. 13. They can be brought to city hall, or mailed to CCIG, P.O. Box 86, Culver OR 97734.
