Library announces February free films
Jefferson County Library District has announced the list of free films to be shown in February at the Rodriguez Annex.
On Friday, Feb. 1, at 7:30 p.m., there will be a showing of "The Longest Yard" (R). An American sports comedy released in 1974, the film is set in a prison and stars Burt Reynolds, Eddie Albert and Ed Lauder. A former professional football player, now a convict, gets a team of inmates together to play a game against the guards.
On Friday, Feb. 8, at 7:30 p.m., the library will be showing of "RBG" (NR). The documentary follows the life and career of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
"Crazy Rich Asians" (PG13), will be shown on Friday, Feb. 15, at 7:30 p.m. A romantic comedy, the film follows an American-born Chinese economics professor, who travels with her boyfriend to his hometown of Singapore to attend his best friend's wedding.
