Theater Guild to present three-act farce
The High Desert Community Theater Guild is presenting four performances of "Medium Rare" this month.
The three-act farce, by Steve Hogue and produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service Inc., is set to run March 21, 22, 23, and 24, at the Madras Performing Arts Center, located at 412 SE Buff St.
The first three shows, March 21-23, begin at 7 p.m., and the Sunday, March 24, show is at 2 p.m.
The play follows Harry and Bunny Polk who are excited to move into their newly purchased home, but they are a bit concerned when the previous owners exit quickly and leave no forwarding address.
What or who have they left behind? Are there giant rats in the basement or did they leave granny? Who are these ladies in the living room at 6:30 a.m.?
All Harry wants to do is shake off some pressure. Chaos reigns as Bunny and Harry try to get rid of granny, her gentleman caller and everything that comes with her.
Tickets are free and available at Culver City Hall and Madras-Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce. Donations are gladly accepted at the door.
