At 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 12, "The Favourite" (R) will be shown. The film is set in early 18th century England and tells the story of a frail Queen Anne, whose close friend, Lady Sarah, governs the country for the ailing queen.

A new servant, Abigail, arrives and soon becomes a favorite of Lady Sarah. Olivia Colman won the Oscar for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role with her portrayal of Queen Anne in the film.

On Friday, April 19, "Green Book" (PG13) will be shown. The film follows the story of a working-class Italian-American bouncer, who becomes the driver of an African-American classical pianist on a tour of venues through the 1960s American South. It won the Oscar for Best Picture.

The film begins at 7:30 p.m. at the annex, 134 SE E St., and refreshments are available.
