The Madras High School students who are headed to Tomi City, Japan, in June, are continuing their fundraising for the trip with another car wash on Saturday, April 27.
Katherinne Parodi, Kimberly Juarez, Elan Rios and Kiandra Smith, along with this year's chaperone, Andrew Smiley, are headed to Tomi City, the Sister City of Madras, in June, and the group has to come up with a total of $8,000, some of which has already been raised.
All money raised at the car wash, beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, and running until 3 p.m. in the Les Schwab Tires parking lot, will go toward the trip. There is a suggested donation of $10 per car and $15 per large truck or van.
