There is still time to take in the Madras High School's drama program's spring production of "Into the Woods" at the Madras Performing Arts Center May 2-4.

Performances will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and the final show will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday.

"Into the Woods" is a take on beloved fairy tales that combines storylines of "Cinderalla," "Little Red Riding Hood" and "Jack and the Beanstalk," tied together by a story about a baker and his wife. The underlying theme is to be careful for what you wish for.

The play is a musical/comedy with plenty of outstanding singing from the performers. There is also a live pit orchestra.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. Children under 5 years old get in free.DESIREE BERGSTROM/MADRAS PIONEER - The cast of 'Into the Woods' assembles for a photo. The play will run April 25, 26, 27 and May 2, 3 4 at the Madras Performing Arts Center.
