Jefferson County Library will hold a book sale Aug. 2-3, and a film in the park Aug. 16.

The Jefferson County Library is gearing up for several community activities in the beginning of August.

The "Giant Book Sale" will be held in the library annex from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 2-3, where books, audio books, CD's, videos and DVD's will be avalible for $5 a bag.

On Aug. 16, familes will gather in Sahalee park for the library's presentation of "How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World." The preshow entertainment begins at 7:30 p.m. and the movie will begin at 8:30 p.m. As are all the films the library presents, the "Screen on the Green" movie night is free to attend.
