The MHS Key club is hosting it's third and final Kid's Cultural Day, focused on El Salvador.

The Madras High School Key Club will be hosting their third community Kid's Cultural Day this upcoming Saturday, Aug. 24, in Sahalee Park during Saturday Market. The culture being presented this month is El Salvador.

Activities during the event include colorful wood block painting, creative button making and possibly some authentic El Salvadoran food. There will also be traditional games including, Capirucho (cup on a stick) and Tripa Cucha, a number puzzle game.

Studio K will be performing Traditional dances from 11 a.m.-noon and there will be music all day, as well as fun prizes and a Piñata for all the participating kids to break open.

Hannah Holliday helped out at the Mexico event and is planning on being at the event this Saturday. She stated,"I like teaching the kids about different cultures because it is a good thing to learn since we live in such a diverse town."

This event is free of charge to all community members.
