The Jefferson County Library is planning to introduce an otter as the youth services mascot. The library is looking for artists to come up with their take on the furry creature and submit them to the contest the library is holding. The winning otter will become the new logo and visual representation of the mascot.
All ages are welcome to participate, and work must be original, not a copy of someone else's work. By entering the contes,t the artist is giving the library permission to reproduce the artwork for library purposes.
All artwork shout be submitted as a digital file and must be labeled with your name and phone number. The library suggests that images be 1000px on the long side and a resolution of 72dpi. Files must be submitted as jpeg, gif or png.
A full list of rules and judging criteria can be found on the library website at jcld.org.
