Training for hospice volunteers and hospital caregivers set for Aug, 28, in Madras.

For those interested in becoming a volunteer caregiver at St. Charles Madras and/or St. Charles Hospice, next Wednesday morning, Aug. 28, an orientation and training will take place.

Learn about various opportunities within St. Charles Health System and its standards of accountability, caring and teamwork.

"Volunteering is a great way to contribute to the community, gain experience in a hospital or hospice setting, and make a difference in the lives of others," said Lisa McGowan, St. Charles Hospice volunteer supervisor.

To register and attend, call McGowan at 541-280-5444. She will walk you through the process of joining St. Charles Madras and help you begin the journey.
