No tricks just treats in downtown Madras
The Madras Downtown Association is gearing up for some fun this Halloween, with festive activities for families before the sun sets on the costumed and candy-driven day.
From 4 to 6 p.m. on Halloween night, downtown Madras businesses will keep their doors open for families to have some fun.
No haunted houses, but something that will keep kids jumping all the same — a bounce house — will be set up on the corner of fifth and C streets. At the same time, Madras Mission Church will be holding a carnival and businesses in the area will be handing out treats.
Businesses participating in the evening events will have either an actual pumpkin or a picture of a pumpkin in the window to let trick-or-treaters know they are a part of the event.
