The Jefferson County Livestock Association is holding the annual sale, along with a barbecue.

DESIREE BERGSTROM/MADRAS PIONEER - 4-H'ers and FFA members take time before the livestock auction at the fair to file through the crowd of buyers and community members, shaking as many hands as they can along the way. This year's auction will be put on by the Jefferson County Livestock Association.Despite the cancellation of the Jefferson County Fair, the Jefferson County Livestock Association will hold the 4-H/FFA Market Animal Sale for the youth of Jefferson County Sunday, July 26, at the Central Oregon Livestock Auction Yard, 3457 S Highway 97, Madras.

A buyer barbecue with no-host bar starts at 11:30 a.m. The JCLA will provide the meal, which will be prepared by Bobbi Aldrich.

The sale will start at 1 p.m. with swine, followed by small animals, beef, sheep and goats.

COVID-19 guidelines will be followed.
