Movin' Mountains final weigh-ins will be held Friday and Saturday, July 10 and 11.

It seems like a long, long time ago when the 2020 Movin' Mountains Slimdown Challenge began, back in January, back before the coronavirus pandemic.

The pandemic shutdown has impacted nearly every segment of life since mid-March, and it postponed the final weigh-in for this year's popular community weight loss and health improvement event, Movin' Mountains. Scheduled for May, the final weigh-in was postponed until mid-July.

Weigh-ins for the Movin' Mountain Slimdown Challenge 2020 are scheduled for Friday, July 10, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, July 11, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Jefferson County Public Health building.

The weigh-ins will have the following public health guidelines applied:

When checking in to do measurements, all participants must wear masks. If participants do not have a mask, one will be provided. Temperatures will be checked. There will be two people doing the measurements, and they will be wearing masks and gloves. They will disinfect the rooms between participants to ensure everyone is safe. Individual appointments are not needed.

If the days and times do not work, participants must have their measurements done before Saturday, July 11, as they cannot be done after that date.

So, 2020 participants have approximately 10 days for a final push to shed some more pounds, lose some inches, and win some of the $6,800 prize pool.
