Culver softball hits the ball well against Madras JV, but comes up short in both games.

STEELE HAUGEN - Addison Finley connects with a hit against Madras JV. The Culver Bulldogs softball team lost both games in a doubleheader Friday, April 6 in Pilot Rock.

They lost the first game 16-0 and the second game 11-0.

Emma Hayes, Ryanne Scholl, and Amber Shaw all recorded a hit for the Bulldogs in their first game.

Anyla Rico and Madison Miller were able to get a hit in their second game of the day.

The Bulldogs also lost a pair of games to Madras JV on Thursday, April 5.

Culver had 12 hits in a 14-6 loss in game one.

Anyla Rico had a good first game going two-for-three with three RBI's. Janae Rhen also hit well for the Bulldogs having three hits for one RBI.

Madison Miller contributed with two hits and scored a run for Culver.

In the second game, the Bulldogs had nine hits on the day. Culver lost 14-4.

Janae Rhen kept her good hitting day alive going two-for-two with an RBI.

Emma Hayes and Nena Mendoza both contributed with a hit that led to a runner scoring.

The Bulldogs have a doubleheader Thursday, April 12 in Culver. The Bulldogs will host Union/Cove at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
