Madras baseball has found its confidence; gets things going in the third inning against Molalla.

Kanim Smith hit Tyler Lockey home with a fly ball to center field to give Madras a quick 1-0 lead after the first inning.

The Buffs didn't really get things going until the third inning. Liam White hit a ground ball to second base for an RBI. The bases were loaded with two outs and a full count for senior Brandon Desjardins. Desjardins ripped a shot to deep left field, scoring three runs, for a triple.

The White Buffalos took a 5-0 lead heading into the fourth inning.

Cameron Rodriguez scored from a Lewis Fine line drive up the middle in the fourth inning and Kody Zemke hit a deep fly ball to center field for an RBI double.

Molalla scored three runs in the sixth inning. Kolton Jordan hit a line drive up the middle for an RBI and Matt Roark hit a RBI line drive to left field.

The Buffs held the Indians scoreless in the seventh inning, giving Madras a 7-3 victory.
