Winners and results of the 51st Annual Cowdeo at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds; youth rodeo fun.

JASON BLACKMAN - Boots Racoon,  4, participates in the peewee barrell racing competition.The 51st Annual Cowdeo charged into the Jefferson County Fairgrounds on Saturday, Oct. 19.

The youth rodeo was open to kids ages 5 to 14 to give them the "ability to experience friendly rodeo competition in a family atmosphere," according to Brian Crow, manager of the fairgrounds.

Tallie Wood and Gentry Johnson tied as all-around winners.

In the sheep riding, which was sponsored by Dairy Queen, KaiKoa Freeman took first; Avery Tickner took second, Royce Ihrig, third; Bransyn Harper, fourth; Alessandra Norton, fifth; and Brogan Forman and Rainee Jacobs tied for sixth.

PeeWee Goat Tail Undecorating, sponsored by Papa Murphy's, saw Breanne Arnzen in first place; Callie Smith in second; Brinlee Smith in third; Avery Tickner in fourth; Kieran Sutherlin in fifth; and Brody Bomke in sixth.

In PeeWee Barrel Racking, sponsored by Kim Schmith, Charlee Mitchell took home the first-place prize, followed by Callie Smith in second, Chayanne Arnzen in third, Avery Tickner in fourth, Julia Rydman in fifth, and Brinlee Smith in sixth.

Drake Brisbois took first place in PeeWee Calf Riding, which was sponsored by Abbas Pump Service. Joletta Begay came in second, with Brody Bomke and Arellie Scott tied for third, Callie Smith in fifth, and Tommy Norton in sixth place.

In PeeWee Horseless Calf Roping, which was sponsored by Plateau Travel Plaza, Winola Brisbois came out on top, followed by Bransyn Harper in second, Joletta Begay in third, Sharmiah Brisbois in fourth, Anna Bowen in fifth, and Kaylee Duling in sixth.

Coby Holmes took first place in Junior Horseless Roping, which was sponsored by the city of Madras. Mylaena Norton was in second place, Trey Chase was in third, Gemma DeLance was in fourth, Tenley Towell was in fifth, and Tessa Camas was in sixth.

Kasamira Johnson placed first in Junior Breakaway Roping, which was sponsored by Grocery Outlet.

In Junior Barrell Racing, which was sponsored by the Odd Fellows Mount Jefferson Lodge No. 196, Tallie Wood placed first; Kasamira Johnson, second; Tristan Sutherlin, third; Trey Chase, fourth; Gemma DeLance, fifth; and Maurice Petersen, sixth.

The Junior Flag Race, sponsored by Bright Wood Corp., saw Tallie Wood take first place; Kasamira Johnson, second; Trey Chase, third; Tristan Sutherlin, fourth; Maurice Petersen, fifth; Gemma DeLance, sixth.

In Junior Calf Riding, which was sponsored by Mid Oregon Credit Union, Tatyn Harper won first place; Tallie Wood, second; Maurice Petersen, third; Clayton Brandau, fourth; Talley Towell, fifth; and Kasamira Johnson, sixth.

Kaycee Kasch took first place in Junior Barrel Racing, which was sponsored by Dry Canyon Farms. Gentry Johnson won second; Josie Lauman, third; Ryann Mitchell, fourth; Taylor Towell, fifth; and Kelsea Bomke, sixth.

Addison Arnzen took first place in Senior Breakaway Roping, which was sponsored by Grocery Outlet.

Gentry Johnson earned first in Senior Cow Riding, sponsored by Sureline Broadband. Kaycee Kasch took second, and Taylor Towell and Emma Brandau tied for third.

In the Senior Scurry Race, which was sponsored by Metolius Mobile Manor, Gentry Johnson won first place; Josie Lauman, second; Marcelina Zacarias, third, Kaycee Kasch, fourth; Kelsea Bomke, fifth; and Makenna Bomke, sixth.
