The JCLL All-Stars will compete in the Junior League Baseball state tournament starting this weekend in Prineville.

The Jefferson County Little League All-Stars are all set for the 2022 Junior League Baseball state tournament.

After taking second place at the District 5 tournament in Madras, the JCLL team earned a spot in the state finals, while District 5 champions Bend North advanced directly to the regional tournament, which is being played in Bend next month.

Other teams in the field include fellow district champions Del Norte, East County, La Grande, South Salem and Wilsonville.

CROOK COUNTY LITTLE LEAGUE/FACEBOOK - The Junior League Baseball Oregon state tournament begins Saturday, July 23, at Davidson Field in Prineville. The state tournament is being hosted by Crook County Little League.The state tournament begins Saturday, July 23, at 8 a.m., and Jefferson County plays its first game at 5:30 p.m. later that day. The double-elimination event will continue at least until Monday, July 25, and possibly into Tuesday, July 26. The winner advances to the regional tournament.

All games will played at Davidson Field, 251 SE Court Street in Prineville.

Below is a full schedule of games for the state tournament:

  • Game 1: East County vs. Del Norte, Saturday, July 23, 8:30 a.m.
  • Game 2: La Grande vs. South Salem, Saturday, July 23, 11:30 a.m.
  • Game 3: Wilsonville vs. Game 1 winner, Saturday, July 23, 2:30 p.m.
  • Game 4: Jefferson County vs. Game 2 winner, Saturday, July 23, 5:30 p.m.
  • Game 5: Game 1 loser vs. Game 4 loser, Sunday, July 24, 8:30 a.m.
  • Game 6: Game 2 loser vs. Game 3 loser, Sunday, July 24, 11:30 a.m.
  • Game 7: Game 3 winner vs. Game 4 winner, Sunday, July 24, 2:30 p.m.
  • Game 8: Game 5 winner vs. Game 6 winner, Sunday, July 24, 5:30 p.m.
  • Game 9: Game 7 loser vs. Game 8 winner, Monday, July 25, 2:30 p.m.
  • Game 10: Championship Game 1, Monday, July 25, 5:30 p.m.
  • Game 11: Championship Game 2, Tuesday, July 26, 9 a.m. (if necessary)
