Looking to get your kids involved in youth sports this year? The MAC Rec District offers flag football, soccer and golf!

The Madras Aquatic Center Recreation District has opened registration for its fall youth sports programs.

The MACRD is offering flag football, youth soccer and junior golf programs, and online sign-ups are opening up for the fall season. The flag football program has four age groups: Pre-K/Kindergarten; Grades 1-2; Grades 3-4; and Grades 5-6. The soccer program has three age groups: 4-6 years old; 7-9 years old; and 10-13 years old. The junior golf program is designed for youth golfers ages 4 to 17.

Registration is already open for both flag football and soccer. The flag football and soccer seasons begin Sept. 10 and continue through Oct. 22. Registration for the junior golf program opens Tuesday, Aug. 16, and the season will run from Sept. 19 to Oct. 24.

The registration fee is $100 for the general public, and just $78 for those who live within the MAC Rec District boundaries.

Later in the fall, the MACRD will also offer programs for volleyball and basketball. Club volleyball registration opens Tuesday, Sept. 27, while sign-ups for basketball start Tuesday, Oct. 25. There will also be a MACRD tackle football program starting in March 2023.
