Ron Wyden will hold a town hall July 8 in the auditorium at Newberg High School. It will be the second of the year in Yamhill County and among the 54 town halls Wyden has held overall so far in 2017.

"The Fourth of July is an important reminder of how the Founding Fathers wanted a representative democracy where citizens have every opportunity to talk with elected officials," Wyden said in a prepared statement. "It's clear from the incredible turnout at my 46 town halls so far in 2017 throughout Oregon that people want to participate in our democracy and express their views on issues such as healthcare."
