Lainey Joanne Lewis arrives at Providence Newberg Medical Center at 1:02 a.m. on New Year's Day

Lainey Joanne Lewis was born at 1:02 a.m. on New Year's Day at the Newberg facility. She weighed 6 pounds 14 ounces and is 19 inches long.

Mom and dad are Amity residents Jessica and Kolby Lewis.

Lainey has a big brother, Charley, who is 2 years old.

In recognition of Lainey's arrival, Providence presented a gift basket of baby essentials "to celebrate the occasion," said Mike Antrim, PNMC's senior manager of communications.
