Recreational vehicles are going to have a tough time accessing Highway 99W from proposed park in Dundee

To the editor:

My daughter, son-in-law and I have been watching and reading about the new overnight RV park in Dundee and have a question concerning how the RVs are going to get out of the lot and onto the highway.

Even cars or smaller RVs require space and the 40-footers need a lot of space to move onto the road.

My daughter and her husband have had RVs for years and now have a brand new, beautiful 40-foot RV, so they are very aware of this problem as well.

Even for a car to come from a side street is difficult in heavy traffic. It's bad for trucks too.

Getting out to make a right turn is hard, but crossing two busy lanes of traffic to turn left is an accident waiting to happen.

The only solution that I can see is a traffic light to give everyone a fair chance (and a safe one) to enter the highway.
