NASF slates online fundraising auction
Aquatic and fitness center will open on weekends
The Chehalem Aquatic and Fitness Center will soon be open on weekends, park and rec officials announced last week. The fitness center will be open on a drop-in basis from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays starting May 1. Lap swims in the competition pool are by reservation only and will be open on weekends in 45-minute increments from 1:15 to 4 p.m. starting May 1. Beginning May 8, Barre Fusion studio group fitness classes will be offered at 8:30 a.m. on a drop-in basis on Saturdays, as will Aqua Zumba classes in the leisure pool (reservation only). May 15 marks the beginning of reservation-only public swim sessions in the leisure pool from 1 to 2:15 p.m. and 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
