St. Paul High School grads start alumni page, while Newberg school district establishes an anonymous tip line

GARY ALLEN - George Fox University's student activity center is beginning to take shape after contractor Todd Construction began erecting walls for the 40,000-plus square-foot facility last week. The center, which is being constructed on the east side of campus near the Canyon Commons dining hall and the Hobson-Macy-Sutton Residence Hall Complex, will include three basketball/volleyball courts, a 5,400-square-foot area designated as Associated Student Community office and club space, a fitness center with views overlooking Hess Creek Canyon, a rock-climbing wall, two yoga/dance/aerobics studios, and a student lounge. The facility is scheduled to open in August.

St. Paul starts alumni page

The St. Paul School District has created an alumni section on its middle/high school website at domain/243. The page includes links for senior class lists going back as far as 1924 (the district is continually looking to fill in any of the missing years), a college matriculation map, an update form, building tours and transcript information, reunions and ways you can support the next graduating class.

School district offering tip line

Newberg School District has established an anonymous tip line to help families and community members stay involved in the safety and welfare of students. The district has two different ways for students, parents and community members to report safety concerns: via the Blackboard app or by calling the anonymous tip line at 1-888-287-6157. Each tip will be review-ed by an NSD administrator or designated personnel.
