Myron 'Bags' Bagley
Myron "Bags" Bagley, 84, passed away December 21, 2017 in Waldport Oregon. Myron was born in Portland, Oregon on February 7, 1933 to Myron & Lila (Ewing) Bagley. Raised in Portland, he graduated from Jefferson High School and went on to graduate from the University of Oregon. He spent more than 60 years serving his clients as a financial advisor starting in Eugene and spent five years in New York City in Corporate Management on Wall Street. In 1994, with partners he started BJR & Associates, now Cascade Financial Management, in Denver, Colorado where he continued to service his client accounts until his death. He enjoyed coaching youth basketball and baseball in the Eugene Boys Athletic Association. He was also involved with University of Oregon athletics and was a member of the Oregon Club where he served as President for one term.
Bags is preceded in death by his late wife, Doreen (Gienger) Bagley; and his sister Beverly Benke. He is survived by his sons Kurt Bagley, of Eugene, OR; Jeffrey (Melissa) Bagley, of Scottsdale, AZ; and his daughter Linda (Dwane Lincoln) Bagley, of Portland, OR; and his step-sons, Bill (Chris) McCool, Snoqualmie, WA; Brian (Brenda) McCool of Portland, OR; Mike (Molly) McCool, Kirkland, WA; and Clark (Brenda) McCool of Portland, OR. He took great pride in his 12 grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren.
In keeping with Myron's wishes there will be no public funeral services. His children and grandchildren will gather later for a private ceremony to celebrate his life.
