Pamela J. Gigliotti
Pamela J. Gigliotti, 57, of Gresham, died August 7, 2019 after a long-time battle with pulmonary hypertension and congestive heart failure. She was born November 16, 1961 in Kansas City, Missouri. Pam attended St. Henry Catholic School, West Gresham Grade School, Dexter McCarty Middle School, and was a 1980 graduate of Gresham Union High School. She attended Marylhurst University where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Religious Studies.
Pam worked for 13 years at Oregon Catholic Press as a Customer Service Representative until her illness forced an early retirement in 2014.
She loved visiting the Oregon Coast and listed "Hug Point" as one of her all-time favorite beach spots. She also enjoyed drives through the Columbia Gorge; often taking her niece and nephew along for the ride.
Pam looked forward to the once-a-month bunco night with friends, who have played together for nearly 30 years. In her spare time she enjoyed baking cakes and cookies, and would often surprise her loved ones with homemade treats. She loved making people laugh, and cherished the time she spent with family and friends.
Pamela is survived by her mother, JoAnn Gigliotti of Gresham; Sister Sharon Walls, her husband Dale, and nephews Benjamin and Timothy of Spokane, Washington; Sister Annette Steele and brother-inlaw Joe of Gresham; Niece Andrea Johnson, her husband Randy, and their sons Kolbe and Lukas of Sherwood; Nephew Tony Steele and his wife Mandy of Oregon City; Brother Anthony Gigliotti and his wife Kelly of Gresham. Pam is also survived by her best friend of 51 years, Mrs. Mary Pfeifer Howell of Troutdale. Pam is preceded in death by father Tony Gigliotti.
