Beverly C. Fendall
That same year the family moved to Salem, Oregon, where Beverly attended grades one thru three. Richard's job took him to Portland, Oregon, where Beverly spent the rest of her school years, graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1948. During her senior year she met Dave Fendall through a blind date, and they were married in 1949.
David and Beverly pastored six different churches over 27 years. Beverly was a constant support for David, as well as teaching children's church, VBS, and being involved in various women's ministries such as FWMF and Rural Homemakers.She developed many special interests and hobbies over the years. She loved collecting dolls, music boxes, bells, scarecrows, and old bottles and jars. She also greatly enjoyed visiting covered bridges, scrapbooking, quilting, family history, and exploring nature to look for birds and wildflowers.
She is survived by her son Daniel Fendall; daughter Janelle Baron; sister Shirlene Perisho; brother Don Swisher; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service is scheduled for November 9th, 2019, at West Chehalem Friends Church at 2pm.
