Lillian Evelyn Kuhn
Lillian Evelyn Kuhn passed away on December 14, 2020 at age 90 in Gresham, Oregon. Her death followed a hospitalization for Covid-19. Lillian was born to Oral and Violet Whiting on August 8, 1930 in Denver, Colorado. She married Gerald A. Kuhn on June 24, 1950 in Denver, a union that would last until his death in 1998. After they married they settled in Portland, Oregon to build a life and raise their family. After working at Langendorf Bakery,
Nabisco, and the US Postal Service, Lillian became a
full-time mother and homemaker. She was a longtime
active member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and a tireless volunteer at SnowCap and Human Solutions. She was an avid reader, loved her family and friends, and had a deep and abiding faith. She is survived by son Ronald (Barbara) Kuhn of Portland, and daughters Linda Sharp of Kent, Washington, Elaine (Joe) Soulagnet of Gresham, and Teresa (Matt) Johnsen of Portland, as well as nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Her remains will be interred next to her husband at Gethsemani Catholic Cemetery in Happy Valley.
