Phyllis Anne Murphy
On Friday, January 1, 2021, Phyllis Anne Murphy, loving wife and mother of four children, passed away at the age of 88 due to Covid 19 complications.
Phyllis was born on October 19, 1932, in Glenfield, ND, to Benjamin and Julia (nee Grondahl) Jones. Raised in ND with her two older brothers, Wayne and Ron Jones, and graduating from the University of North Dakota, she was involved in a wide variety of endeavors over her life. Some of her biggest joys were spending time at the beach, collecting Christmas cookie jars and village pieces, and cheering for the Portland Trailblazers.
She is survived by her husband of almost 58 years, Jerry; her four children. Timothy, Megan, Sean and Torrey; and four grandchildren Caitlin and Sean Moffett, and Alanna and Trevor Murphy.
