Frank C. Peters, 93 years old is at peace with the Lord. Frank was born in Grants Pass, Oregon and grew up in Square Butte, Mt. He was married to the love of his life, Mary Peters for 68 years. They were married in Hubbard, Oregon on March 23, 1945.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents George and Myrna Peters; his sisters Nita Jean Smith, Betty Jo Giese, Jackie Burns; brother Allen Peters, and his wife Mary Peters. Frank is survived by his daughter Deanna Rigelman (Max); his son Kriss Peters (Janet); 4 grandchildren; and 9 greatgrandchildren; brother John Peters and his sister Carolyn Settera.
Frank was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed being with family and friends. Frank was involved with a group of friends that walked the Washington Square Mall every day for excercise and fellowship. Frank was very active in his church and early on was involved with a singing group, Frank had a beautiful and joyful voice.
A very special man; to quote Frank; "He never had a bad day". Frank always looked at the positive things in life and in others. He was a Montana cowboy at heart and loved the annual family unions in Square Butte, Mt. Twice a year Frank and his son Kriss would attend the Antique and Collectable Expo show in Portland, Oregon. Frank truly enjoyed the time he spent at the show; visiting with old friends and making new ones too. Frank never met a stranger, he had an uncanny act for making you feel like an old friend. Truly a special gift to us all, and everyone he touched.
There will be a celebration of Frank Peters life in the future.
