Starlit Ransom passed away Nov. 29, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital.
Starlit was born in Ashland, OH and moved to Dayton, WA where she attended grade school and graduated from Dayton High School.
She married Ronald Ransom in Dayton, WA on Sept 10, 1955 and then moved to San Angelo, TX where Ron was in USAF Pilot training. After Ron's numerous career moves they finally settled in Portland, OR in 1973 where she raised her 3 boys, Randal Ray, Gary Allen and Richard Earl.
Star was a devoted wife and mother. She volunteered at school and was involved in their activities insuring their success in life.
Star was an avid and talented quilter making many lovely quilts for family & friends.
Star is survived by her three sons, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and her brother, David Watts.
Her viewing will be this Friday, Dec. 6, from 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of life from 12:30 - 3:00 p.m. at Skyline Memorial Gardens, 4101 NW Skyline Blvd, Portland.
