July 5, 1935 - September 5, 2020 - Conrad (Connie) Frederick Kilmer passed away on September 5, 2020 at Keen Eye Care Assisted Living in Soldotna, Alaska. He was 85.

Born July 5, 1935, in Oregon City, OR, Connie graduated from West Linn High School, attended Lewis & Clark College and graduated from Portland State University. He proudly served in the Air National Guard as a medical technician. He was an amazing man, a teacher, coach, painter; he was a kind, gentle, caring person who always remembered birthdays. He retired from Walter L. Kraxberger Middle School in Gladstone, OR, where he taught math and coached basketball and girls' volleyball. A man with a strong work ethic, he spent summers working for a tree service company and painting homes. He was quite the worker and always had a project going.

He arrived in Alaska in 2003, residing in Soldotna with his partner, Linda Story. He and Linda enjoyed family and many adventures. Trips to Maui were special. Although he enjoyed his years in Alaska, Oregon was home.

He is survived by his loving partner, Linda Story of Soldotna, AK; his children: Joni Adair, Cordelia, CA; Katherine Nichols, Novato, CA; Mary Kay Smith, Vallejo, CA; Michelle Tummonds, Burns, OR; Charlie Piert, Canby, OR and daughter-in-law Debbie Piert, Canby OR. His sisters: Blanche Ethen, Portland, OR; Linda Towe, Lakewood, WA; Barbara Moore, Salem, OR. His grandchildren: Cameron Nichols, US Marine Corps; Portia Nichols, Novato, CA; Katrina Nichols; Brittany Adelman, Lebanon, OR: Brianna Basey, Eugene, OR. Bryn Tummonds, Burns, OR; Brock Piert, Canby, OR; Brandon Smith, Vallejo, CA; And his great-grandchildren: Addisyn Basey; Jacob, Joanna and Jillian Adelman.

His is pre deceased by his parents, Henry John Kilmer and Martha Kilmer; his twin brother, Henry John Kilmer; his sister, Helen Staats; his grandson Austin Piert and his twin- great-grandchildren Simon and Macie Adelman.
