Born to John and Blanche Shuell in their Salem, OR home, Ardie was the eldest of two children, predeceased by her brother, Jack.

She married Dale Dickerson on January 4, 1954 and together they raised their six children until Dale's death in 1968. She then raised those six rambunctious children and also 4 grandkids.

Residing in Gladstone on Dickerson Ln. for nearly 60 years, she was a loving mother, neighbor, and friend. She was often described as "everybody's mom," whose door was always open to anyone who needed a warm meal, hug or safe place to land.

She was predeceased by sons Jerry and Joe, left behind children Jeff, Jon, Denise and Doreen, nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many friends and loved ones who shall forever miss her.

In lieu of flowers, donations requested to be made to the ASPCA.
