June 10, 1926 to July 3, 2021 - Joyce Lorene Poyser was born in Portland, Oregon, to Homer and Elizabeth Quint in June 1926.

Joyce lived most of her life in West Linn, Oregon on her parents' farm (purchased in 1934) Joyce attended West Linn High School graduating in 1943. Joyce married Gail Poyser married on August 20, 1948, settling in West Linn on property purchased from her parents. They spent several years improving the simple house before the arrival of sons Brad, Scott, Kevin, and Barry. Joyce remained on this property until 2015 when she moved to Oregon City. Joyce lived independently until June 2021.

In 1961, Joyce and Gail purchased property in Greenhorn Oregon where the family would spend many weeks having fun fishing, hunting, and working on a gold mine (non-producing). The boys and their families continue to spend time in Greenhorn.

As a stay-at-home mom, Joyce made the boys her focus. She was a room mother, 4-H leader, involved in PTA, and rarely missed ball games or concerts. She also worked for Clackamas County's election board, overseeing the Rosemont polling location.

Joyce's hobbies included gardening, walking, canning, knitting,attending ball games, crocheting, sewing, scrapbooking, quilting, church activities/services, singing, and cake decorating. Many people in WL, OC, and Gladstone had Joyce's cakes for their special life events.

Joyce is survived by 3 sons (spouses): Bradley (Vicki), Kevin (Denise), Barry, daughter-in-law Debra; 9 grandchildren (spouses): Robert (Melissa), Justin (Ashley), Tyler (Taryn), Michael, Adam (Whitney), Olivia Bartlett (Brandon), Kari (Jeff) , Kendra, Kelly. 13 great-grandchildren Bailey, Brie, Carver, Cyria, Khylee, Kruz, Landen, Hudsen, Ryan, Amelia, Miles; and 2 great-grandchildren Sophia, Silas; sisters Ruth Reynolds, Marilynn Rabick (Phil), and sister-in-law Annamae Quint; many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Gail, son Scott, brother Derrell, and parents. Joyce was on this earth 95 years 23 days and lived a happy full life. She will be remembered with great fondness and love.
