David C. Weberg
David C. Weberg died May 31st 2020 in the Vancouver VA
community care center after a long battle with agent orange/ lung cancer and COPD. Born January 8,1948 in Vanport, OR to Charles and Arlueen Weberg.
He grew up in Gresham settling just east in the quiet rural
area of Pleasant Home. Dave served in the Navy four years during the Vietnam war apart from a wife, a little girl back home and lots of family.
He was an accomplished acrylic artist with an
abundance of paintings and murals to his name. To
top that, he was an extremely skilled musician with
years of performing in local bands. "Idle Hands" band
being one of his favorites. He could play just about any
instrument, but the base guitar was his specialty. He
also wrote many stories, poems and songs.
He retired from Reynolds aluminum and owned a
business (Sassy Jacks).
He is leaving behind many family members and
friends who dearly loved him. His "Uncle Dave"
status respected. He will be greatly missed, especially
his infectious laugh, sense of humor and his love for a
good argument but always ready to love and forgive.
A private memorial was June 14th and we are
waiting for a military service at Willamette cemetery.
