Greg Neilson passed at his Sandy home on October 24. Gregory Arnold Neilson was born November 25, 1944, in Berkeley, CA, to parents Thomas Scott and Geneva Lydia (Marsden) Neilson. He married Vicki Harris and they raised Andrew, Douglas, and Katharine. Uncle Frank taught him to be a ceramic tile setter, a skill he taught all three children. He retired from this occupation, for which he is known for excellence and craftsmanship. He earned the Hammurabi Award for work at the Portland Airport. From his workshop garage he fixed many a motor and created many wood projects. He built the steel wood burning stove in 1978 that still heats their home. He mastered the barbeque where he was well known for Greg's Hot Chicken. Very few of his years did not include 1 or more dogs. Greg's favorite pastime was playing cribbage with his close friends and family. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by wife Vicki, children and grandchildren Andy and Diana, Ellery and Rhett, Doug and Laura, Crane, Ryder, and Banks, and Katharine and Justin, Lilly and Milo.
