March 13, 1968 - March 14, 2020. Ramona G. 'Mona' Hormann, 52, of Forest Grove, died Saturday, March 14 at her home.

Ramona G. "Mona" Hormann, 52, a longtime resident of the Forest Grove community, passed away Saturday morning, March 14, 2020 at her home.

A Private Family Funeral Mass was held.

Ramona Gregoria Hormann was born March 13, 1968 in Bakersfield, California, the daughter of the late Charles Martinez and Evelyn Aguirre. She was raised and received her education in the Bakersfield community, graduating with the Foothill High School Class of 1986. Upon her high school graduation, she attended Santa Barbara College of Business in Bakersfield, California, and received an associate degree in business. 

She was united in marriage to Keith A. Hormann on June 11, 1988 in Bakersfield, California. They celebrated their 31 st Wedding Anniversary this past June. Following their marriage, they resided in Bakersfield, until 1993, when they moved to the Forest Grove community, where she had resided since.

Over the years she has enjoyed raising and spending time with her family and dogs. She also had a special love for her granddaughter, Riley. Her favorite pastimes included: going on adventures, crocheting, helping the community one scarf at a time, listening and dancing to music, puzzles and games, garage saling, and true crime TV. She spent many years in the Hospitality Industry and was a member of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in Verboort.

Mona was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Evelyn and her brother, Charles "Chuck" Martinez, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Keith Hormann, of the family home in Forest Grove, Oregon; her two daughters (twins) and sons-in-law, Samantha, Andrew and Riley Berovic, of Forest Grove, Oregon and Jennifer and Nathan Brentano, of Sublimity, Oregon and her son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Natalie Hormann, of San Diego, California.

Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Viewing (Visitation) Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, March 20 at the Fuiten, Rose & Hoyt Funeral Home in Forest Grove.
