Jerry was an Army Veteran who served in Vietnam for three years on recon missions. He enjoyed creating caricatures and the intrigues of politics. He spent time reading, watching movies, writing songs and playing beautiful guitar music and writing poetry.

Jerry served in excess of fifteen years in the First Baptist Church where he was active on the Worship Team, championed young adults in Sunday school, and acted as Deacon. His latest ministry was sharing His word by promoting Give God Your Best.

His previous work history was exciting and thrilling as a stunt man for the movie industry where he occasionally glimpsed a famous actor. He was a paid musician, earned certification in Karate and held several positions as Private Investigator. Jerry earned an AA degree from COCC and was close to earning his BA from OSU.

He is survived by his brother, Jim Thomas, out of Fresno, California; a son, Chris Thomas (Parker), who resides in Phoenix, Arizona; and his church family.

Jerry was preceded in death by his late partner, Karen Conningham.

Jerry Thomas was loved by many and will be missed.
