Ormas Michael Stream
Ormas Michael Stream, 71, died Saturday, August 7, 2021, in his home in Culver, Oregon.
Ormas was born in Iowa City, Iowa on January 27, 1950. A long-time trucking career took him to Portland in 1977, where he met the love of his life and future bride, April Stream. They moved to Culver in 1979, married March 8, 1980, where they raised their family and became permanent residents.
Along with trucking, Ormas enjoyed riding his Harley with his buddies, camping and riding 4 wheelers at the dunes and just being at the farm with friends and family.
Ormas became a legend on the highway and in so many hearts beyond his immediate family. To know the Stream's is to know you are family! They had endless "kids" and "grandkids" along the way -- there are just too many to list. He will be missed by all, but we celebrate his reunion with his good buddy, Chris Lopez, whom he lost in December 2020, and his dog and highway companion, Whiskey.
He leaves his wife of 41 years, April Stream; and their children and grandchildren: Jim Browne (Stephanie) of Bend, Corey Browne and daughter Cameron Browne, along with her siblings: Kendall and Kayden of Culver, Ryan Urbach (Ronnie) of Veneta, and daughter Savannah Urbach; Chad Stream; Kara Koons and son Tanner. Ormas also leaves his siblings, Richard Stream (Sharon) of Afton, Iowa; Cloa Mae Faulkner of LaVista, Nebraska; Linda Stream of Creston, Iowa; Cindy Isdahl of Creston, Iowa; and Doug and Deb Stream of Weslaco, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Adeline Stream; and brother David Stream.
A celebration of life will be held at Jefferson County Fairgrounds on August 28, at 12:30 pm.
