Gregory Norman Berry
Gregory Norman Berry passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at the age of 72. Greg was born February 27, 1948, in Portland, Oregon in the Westmoreland neighborhood where he attended Llewellyn Elementary and Cleveland High School.
He attended the University of Oregon for his Biology degree, Oregon State for his Civil Engineering degree, and Lewis & Clark School of Law degree. Greg also served his country in Vietnam as a Medic. He later became an active member of the Oregon State Bar while he continued to work for the City of Tigard.
After college he married Cheri. They had two sons, Matt and Nick. In addition to them, he is survived by his daughters-in-law, Maria and Water; his grandchildren, Carter and Miles, and his sister, Kay. He was predeceased by his parents, Norman and Nadine and his brothers, Dean and Brad.
Greg was a devoted Husband and Father who enjoyed the outdoors and listening to live Jazz whenever possible. He was an avid runner and could often be seen running his dogs through the Eastmoreland neighborhood.
The service will be held August 22, 2021 at Moreland Presbyterian Church, 1814 SE Bybee Blvd, Portland, OR 97202 at 3:00 p.m. The family will be there to welcome friends and relatives to celebrate his life.
