Daniel Harvey Reber
Daniel Harvey Reber of Sherwood died May 11, 2020. He was 85 years old.
Dan was born July 16, 1934 in Portland, Ore. and lived in Tualatin until 1953 when he moved to Sherwood.
He worked as a furniture upholsterer before he owned and operated Dan's Chevron gas station at Six Corners in Sherwood. Dan worked many years at Utility Equipment and ran their parts department until he retired.
Dan was a hard-working man who enjoyed travelling, playing cards, gardening, and having his family close to him.
Survivors include his wife Joyce of Sherwood; son Richard Reber of Newberg; and daughters Susan Ackerman and Diana Whiting both of McMinnville, and his step-son Pat Olds of Sherwood. He had 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Dan was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn, his twin brother Richard "Dickey" his parents William and Grace "Topy" Reber, and his brother William.
Due to the Covid 19 virus restrictions a private interment will be held at Mountainside Cemetery in Scholls where he will be laid to rest next to his late wife Carolyn.
