Ann Elizabeth Christler
Ann was born in Hinsdale, IL to Jane and Mike Heverly. She grew up with her two younger brothers, Dave and Matt. She graduated from Oregon State University in 1986. Ann and Bob married on June 10, 1989.
Ann was a devoted mother to her two kids: Emma and Nate. She was an amazing cook, gardener, and homemaker. She was an avid runner and ran multiple marathons and half marathons.
Ann was involved in the Wilsonville community. She attended and served at Grace Chapel, taught at Wilsonville Christian Academy, and worked at Trudy's Livingroom. She also helped found the local running group, Queen of the High Road, and the running mentorship program at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility.
Since 2018, Ann worked as the EducationCoordinator for the Manav Foundation, part of Sherwood's Our Table Cooperative. Ann was passionate about sharing the wonder of the outdoors with kids via field trips and farm camps.
Ann was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in November 2019. Even throughout her diagnosis and treatment, Ann radiated Christ's unstoppable joy. Her family is comforted knowing she is restored and at peace now. Her life is a testimony of the love, joy, and service of Jesus Christ.
